To the Citizens of Wake County, in 2006 you pledged your commitment and support to my campaign and elected me to the Wake County Board of Commissioners. I campaigned on being visible, accessible and an advocate for all citizens; I have kept that promise. Continuously in the heart of the community, I listened and tirelessly advocated on your behalf. As my constituents, you have taught me invaluable lessons; a core partner during my successful tenure. You showed me that you wanted an Elected Official who listens, exhibits leadership and champions the quality of community life and health.
